Tips:

• If the name of the farm is blue with an underline; that's a link to their website or Facebook page. Click on it for the most current hours and information.
• ALWAYS call the farm or store BEFORE YOU GO - many farms have closed in the past year, and of course, we won't know until the season starts and we find they aren't open! Call to confirm their supply, their hours and whether they have trees, are allowing choose-and-cut or just precut trees; and which attractions or winter activities are available. All three can change during the short Christmas season, due to weather, demand and the farmer's business conditions! Visiting the patch in October, you will find pumpkins of all sizes and shapes. Gourds, corn stalks, and indian corn are in abundance. Come see the ghosts in our trees, the scarecrows in our patch, and crawl through our hay maze. You can even take a hay ride in the middle of San Francisco! School groups are invited to attend.

Holiday buyers can also find at our tree lots mistletoe, indoor tree lights, decorated wreaths, living potted pines, tree removal bags and water bowls for trees. Flame retardant is also available. In addition to tree lots, our commercial decorating division sells large trees and decorates banks and large corporate headquarters in San Francisco and Los Angeles for the holidays.   A visitor writes on December 31, 2019: "Hi, They did have a "farm" here this past Christmas season. I drove past it a couple days after Christmas and while there were people taking it down, it was apparent they were there. I know a few years ago, I tried taking a picture of it. The owner get really mad. It turns out they were being harassed by the city of SF for unknown reasons and they thought I was someone from the city office. I noticed they were at a different location for a couple of years after that, but again it seems clear they were there at the Sloat location this year. The "city harassment" may explain why their web site no longer works. I tried Googling Emerald Forest, but didn't come up with a new site. Hope this helps. Happy New Year."
