Christmas Tree Farms in Houston and southeast Texas

Whether you want to cut your own tree, pick a live tree and have it cut for you, buy a tree already cut or buy a living tree you can plant, this page provides detailed listings of Houston and southeast Texas's choose-and-cut Christmas tree farms, places to buy pre-cut (also called pre-harvested and fresh-cut) trees, stands, sleigh rides, hay rides and related winter events and fun. The farms are listed further down this page, so scroll down the page! I'm always looking for more to add, and to correct any inaccuracies or errors, so if you encounter any, please email me!

If the name of the farm is blue with an underline; that's a link to their website. Click on it for the most current hours and information. NOTE: I cannot emphasize this enough: Please, ALWAYS call the farm or store BEFORE YOU GO to confirm their supply, their hours and whether they are allowing choose-and-cut or just precut trees.  All three can change during the short Christmas season, due to weather, demand and the farmer's business conditions! Farms change hours, get sold, shut down or run out of trees, and I have no way of knowing, because I can't call or visit every farm every month, let alone every day. For more tips to make your trip fun and successful, click here! DON'T DRIVE OUT THERE IF YOU CAN'T REACH THEM BY PHONE OR EMAIL!

And please tell the farmer you visit in Houston and southeast Texas that you found their farm here! I need the farmers to realize that you found them here so that they will keep their information up to date! They rarely notify me when they change hours or stop selling trees!

Just scroll down this page!

Note: "What a great time my two kids and I had this past Saturday at the Merry Christmas Tree Farm.  Because my husband couldn't join us and because I wanted a Douglas Fir I really went intending to purchase a precut tree but, thought it would be fun for them to go through all the hoopla of picking up the saw and measuring stick, riding out on the trailer to a spot searching for that perfect tree. (They will cut your tree if you ask) We had so much fun singing on the rides, joking about the younger trees resembling Charlie Brown's tree and they didn't mind when I suggested that we take a peek at the precut trees. They enjoyed the maze, obstacle course, train ride, posing with Santa in his "real" sled, and petting the goats. The staff was most helpful and friendly. Again it was a memorable day and we look forward t o making it a yearly tradition.
