  A visitor writes on November 16, 2012: "We have been going to McHugh's for almost 10 years now, however, we won't be going back this year. The quality of the trees has been steadily declining and last year we were finally fed up. The owners don't seem to be trimming/caring for the trees as well as they used to, as many of the trees were severely overcrowded (and large portions of the trees had gone brown/died due to lack of sun). They were also not trimmed at all, growing wild all over the place, etc. It just wasn't worth the effort-- everytime we'd find a great tree, we'd get closer and see that it was growing crookedly or half dead due to space issues. Also-- if you do drive down to the "house" portion, it's always so AWKWARD. It seems like the owners always have people over, outside drinking alcohol and mingling and they look at us like we're interlopers. Honestly, if the info about the house wasn't posted here, I would have thought "Oops, we HAVE been going to the wrong location all these years!!!" "
