Tips:

• If the name of the farm is blue with an underline; that's a link to their website or Facebook page. Click on it for the most current hours and information.
• ALWAYS call the farm or store BEFORE YOU GO - many farms have closed in the past year, and of course, we won't know until the season starts and we find they aren't open! Call to confirm their supply, their hours and whether they have trees, are allowing choose-and-cut or just precut trees; and which attractions or winter activities are available. All three can change during the short Christmas season, due to weather, demand and the farmer's business conditions! Farms get sold, shut down or run out of trees, and they don't all update me every day, let alone every year. For more tips to make your trip fun and successful, click here !

Decatur County

• Bohman Christmas Tree Farm - Christmas trees-you choose and you cut, Free wagon rides, popcorn, hotdogs and soft drinks.
  9801 E. Base Road, Greensburg, IN. Phone: (812) 934-4257. Open: 8 am to 5 pm, Friday after Thanksgiving and weekends in December. Directions: Forty miles west of Cincinnati: Take I-74 west to New Point, exit 143. Go North about 1/4 mile and turn right on Base Road for about two miles to farm (follow signs); click here for a map. Bring the whole family, bring your dog, take a wagon ride through the Indiana countryside to select the perfect Christmas Tree from a huge variety of Fraser Fir, Canaan Fir, Scotch Pine and White Pine trees. Once you find your perfect tree, you can cut it down (we provide the saw) and we will load it. We will drill it to guarantee that it will stand straight, then shake off the loose needles and bail it. We also have pre-cut trees available for your convenience. Snacks and Refreshments are available. Ample parking and portable restroom facilities are also available

• Thackery Farm - Christmas trees-you choose and you cut,

Make a left (west) on St. Peter Road, go 2 and a half miles. Turn right on Highland Center Road and go 3 miles to Bossert Road. Turn left and go 3 tenths of a mile to farm. Open: 10 am to dark from the day after Thanksgiving (Black Friday) to December 23.
