NOTE: I cannot emphasize this enough: Please, ALWAYS call the farm or store BEFORE YOU GO to confirm their supply, their hours and whether they are allowing choose-and-cut or just precut trees. All three can change during the short Christmas season, due to weather, demand and the farmer's business conditions! Farms change hours, get sold, shut down or run out of trees, and I have no way of knowing, because I can't call or visit every farm every month, let alone every day. Our wagon rides are very popular for both 'cut your own' customers and 'fresh cut' fans. The straw play structure has gotten some serious use and the snow has made the sliding hill very popular with the young (and not so young) crowd. We have lots of room to make snowmen. There are lots of rosy cheeks and our warm sales area is busy with visitors who come in to sit by the fire, sip hot chocolate, and munch on cookies and hot dogs. This is very enjoyable way to get into the holiday spirit. Our jam and gift certificates for wreaths, trees, and berries make great special occasion gifts. From Ottawa: (20 minutes south of Hunt Club) Take Prince of Wales Drive (old Highway 16) to North Gower, left at the flashing light, right at the traffic light, right on McCordick Road.
