Tips:

• If the name of the farm is blue with an underline; that's a link to their website or Facebook page. Click on it for the most current hours and information.
• ALWAYS call the farm or store BEFORE YOU GO - many farms have closed in the past year, and of course, we won't know until the season starts and we find they aren't open! Call to confirm their supply, their hours and whether they have trees, are allowing choose-and-cut or just precut trees; and which attractions or winter activities are available. All three can change during the short Christmas season, due to weather, demand and the farmer's business conditions! Farms get sold, shut down or run out of trees, and they don't all update me every day, let alone every year. For more tips to make your trip fun and successful, click here !

Located just minutes from downtown Ottawa, Stanley's Olde Maple Lane Farm™ has quickly become the National Capital Region's premier reception destination for your Wedding, Company Retreat, or other group function. With 250 acres of developed and undeveloped property, we've hosted Christmas Parties (with Sleigh Rides). Upon your arrival, sign in at the Stonehouse Gift Shoppe. You will then be whisked away on a horse drawn ride to an enchanted village tucked away in the warmth of the tall green cedars. Arrive at your destination and be greeted by the elves. Explore the village, sing songs, play games, and warm up by the bonfire. While you are there drop off your letter to Santa with the elves at the Post Office. Visit the Cookie Kitchen, and receive something sweet to eat. All the children will leave with a special something and then your whole group will return to the gift shoppe and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate. We book private horse drawn rides starting in December through early March, outside of public operating hours. Our horse-drawn sleighs and wagon are approximately one hour long and accommodate up to 20 adult guests. We have a driver as well as a coach man on the ride and they are always more than willing to give you a brief history of the farm, farm events and the surrounding community. This gives your guests a real sense of the farm and area history. The ride travels around the farm through the forests that we tap for Maple Syrup. Sugarbush is now CLOSED! See you next year for a sleigh ride, visit the sugar shack, and watch the sap to syrup process unfold while enjoying taffy on the snow and a pancake brunch at the Pancake House or join us for our Easter Egg Hunt. Group bookings can also be accommodated throughout the week.
  And 2020 Easter Egg Hunt Tickets go on sale in February! Easter Egg Hunts are Rain or Shine! Please come dress appropriately for the weather! Note: Please ensure you allocate enough travel time to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your reserved time as the tractor drawn wagons leave promptly at your designated time! If you miss your wagon, you miss your Easter Egg Hunt. There are no refunds or exchanges for missed wagons or late arrivals. Due to safety concerns, no walkers, wheelchairs, wagons, sleighs or strollers are permitted on the ride.
  Children and adults alike delight in meeting the Easter Bunny and helping him find his eggs. Pile aboard the wagon for a ride out to the Sugarbush. Hunt through the bush in search of the Easter bunny's lost eggs, and add them to your basket. Soon we'll dump them all into the Bunny's Giant Basket and head back to visit the baby animals in the barn. Family fun for all - and each child leaves with something special!

From Ottawa take Hwy 417 e. to Exit 88, Rockdale Road. Travel north on Rockdale Road and follow the directions below. From Orleans take Trim Road south to Navan, Left on Colonial Road 3 km, Righr on Rockdale Rd 2 km to #4075, Watch for signs. All you need for cutting your own tree is a handsaw, gloves, outdoor footwear, and a sense of adventure. We have some saws and sleds at the farm that you may borrow or bring your own. We have twine for tying the tree to your car or trailer. We have a variety of trees on the farm that make excellent Christmas Trees. Our trees are trimmed to keep a natural shape. The trees range in height and fullness, ensuring a perfect tree for your home.
