Whether you want to cut your own tree, pick a live tree and have it cut for you, buy a tree already cut or buy a living tree you can plant, this page provides detailed listings of Montgomery and Southeast Alabama's choose-and-cut Christmas tree farms, places to buy pre-cut (also called pre-harvested and fresh-cut) trees, stands, sleigh rides, hay rides and related winter events and fun. The farms are listed further down this page, so scroll down the page! I'm always looking for more to add, and to correct any inaccuracies or errors, so if you encounter any, please email me!

If the name of the farm is blue with an underline; that's a link to their website. Click on it for the most current hours and information. NOTE: I cannot emphasize this enough: Please, ALWAYS call the farm or store BEFORE YOU GO to confirm their supply, their hours and whether they are allowing choose-and-cut or just precut trees. All three can change during the short Christmas season, due to weather, demand and the farmer's business conditions! Farms change hours, get sold, shut down or run out of trees, and I have no way of knowing, because I can't call or visit every farm every month, let alone every day. Gilbert Christmas Tree Farm - Drilled stands, shaking and netting available and we will also cut and haul your trees for you.

Directions: From West Point, GA, go out Stateline Road (AL side of Lake West Point) turn left at 5 mile marker (just over the hill from the campground) on County Road 296, go 4/10ths mile to Farm on right. Just follow the signs. Farm is located in the Fredonia community; click here for a map and more directions. Open: Friday from 1 pm to 6 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm EST from the day after Thanksgiving and close December 19. One field all trees $15. We now have two entrances to the farm, the old one off County road 266 and a new one off County road 296 that is 3 miles closer to the Valley Area. Our trees are sold by the foot with the Leyland Cypress selling for $5.00 per foot and Virginia Pine selling for $3.50 per foot. We also have a field where any Virginia Pine is $15 and 2 fields where any Virginia Pine is $20. Trees can be delivered in the Valley Area for $5.00 and setup in your stand for an additional $5.00. Delivery is available by calling 334 644-4007 or cell phone 706 590-1274. Our Farm is out in the country. The farm is located on 227 acres where the only neighbors are Turkey and Deer. Visiting our farm is an experience and can become a family tradition for the future.
